Poetry - The Escape Route

Sitting down with a thoughtless mind, Aimlessly trying to grind Out a way to the open world, Waiting for the path to be unfurled, Gazing down the corner of my eye, Trying to figure out hereby, The distance between the two creations, The deviation between the two sensations The tears behind the smiling face, The loss accepted with grace, The hidden feelings deep within, To cover up moments of chagrin The instant when we lay still, And life begins to move downhill, The emptiness fills up the room, The strong silence before doom, And there I sit gazing down below, Waiting for everything to blow, Towards the creation of a whole new domain, Offering the chance to be born again

Always confused how to start about, Caught between the lines of doubt, Losing the time in my hand, The clock markings taking over the hour glass sand The non-stop ticking of the clock, Key of doubts without its lock, The search for the droplet within the sea, The purity in it beyond what I see The final destination seems so far, The practical emotions closed in a jar, Each warning on the way neglected, Along the final barrier it's reflected Filled with emotions & flowing guilt, Weeping across the bridge I built, The broken strings by which it hung, The lesson learnt while I'm still young

Lying under the cloudy sky, With eyes waiting to cry, With time ahead lurking in my mind, The distance will have the relationship bind, The smile on face with memories flashing, All of it comes down crashing, As the reality starts setting in, The physical absence' just the beginning, The vows taken along the way, All promises still left to say, The time will pass staring calender dates, Waiting alone the way one hates But just the way clouds cover the moon, Just the way they clear soon, Im sure the period would pass on fast, This loneliness wont long last So till death do us part, Stops the beating of Our hearts, The love will continue to mature, Together we'll always feel secure

After the tour of two souls together, I sat down & thoughts began to gather, About the journey we went through, The poetic valley enjoyed with you Thoughts undecided,spontaneous movement along the path, Along the way, the weather showcasing its wrath, The rough roads, bursting clouds, spiky path full of fire, Crossing together hand in hand, Couple filled with desire Never thought of separate ways, To clear together every maze, Yet betrayal finds a way to creep in, All the trust one had, broken The desire falls a level down, The king loses his precious crown, The set back caused by the event, The road diverging at every bent Hoping for them to meet ahead, The junction where both the roads have lead, To grow back desire of walking together, And rewriting the story of the Two Souls Together!

After a long battle fought within, He's standing beyond the evil sin, Of the dark passenger travelling along, This journey's been gruesome & long The lacking emotions of the man, The missing affection from the peers, He tries to feel as hard as he can, Yet lacks the dampness of the tears Moving along the colourless path, Living the life of greys & blacks, The purity of white lost under his wrath, The infinite pile of sins he stacks Yet comes a day along his way, When another soul touches the stone, The stone he had trapped within his chest, It's the touch which had his heart shone The strength it gave to fight within, The balance to cross that line thin, And leave behind the heartless mind, The soul set free with love to find

Sitting alone with my abandoned heart, Thinking about from where to start, Was it the words or the touch, Which made me fall for her so much, Where is the love that was once there, I thought you wanted to play fair, When did our ways diverge apart, Why could we not learn the art, Time slipping away through the hour glass, The memories shared, don't seem to surpass, Where's the future which we had foreseen, Why couldn't we just wipe the slate clean Gathering the pieces of the shattered soul, My life's turned darker than kohl, The agony of your total absence, The numbness wiping all my sense, Why does it have to be so hard, Why have I been completely barred, Far way from your burning life, All I wanted was a loving wife Why can't any one of us come clean, Is it necessary to make it so obscene, My heart never wanted to walk away, I'm still ready with those eight letters to say, Neither I liked the sep...

I see your name flashing on my phone, Even though I know it's just imagination, I see your eyes, with pain they moan, I'm losing all my concentration I hear your voice ringing in my ears, Even though I know it's just imagination, I miss your touch, its loss I fear, I'm losing all the sensation I see you lying in front of me, Even though I know it's just imagination, With time it grows, the pain I foresee, I'm all full of frustration I feel your breath down my neck, Even though I know it's just imagination, I'm all that's wrong, a total wreck, I have no justification I see your eyes stare at me wide, Even though I know it's just imagination, I need you now, I cannot hide Anymore, My state of hallucination!

The lights flashing colour, The trees growing over, The shadows under the shed, The stars above they hover All exhibiting the moment of truth, The mix of patience & ruth, Sprinkling around the coloured sheath, Blanking over the lifefull of a party The lighting around one's life, The way it gets dim or bright, Just the way for success we strive, The ups & downs clutch us tight The stripped tone of black & white, The striking balance on the lines, The greener grass of other side, Twitching around with our lives Brought near to the closing thought, After all the battles' been fought, All the differences between patience & ruth, Brings us to the moment of truth

He opened his eyes, To the world above, Stared at its lies, And its imagery of love A tear trickling down his cheek, At all that the sky promises, The answers to which he seeks, It's this knowledge that he misses, He doesn't speak of any misery, He doesn't seek for any favour, His eyes signal the need for mercy, From the god above to forgive his misbehaviour He seeks solace under the crying clouds, The one to understand all his faults, His actions form this misty shroud, And keeps all hidden within the vaults He stares above at the star lit sky, And questions all thats wrong, He stares above & only asks 'why?' Why questions remain unanswered for so long He closes his eyes, To the world above, Turns blind at its lies, And its imagery of love

Trying to see life with a new angle, Letting go off the past memories, To move ahead with renewed force, And make use of all the remedies But he looks back through the tunnel of time, Only to realise the force behind, Is too strong to cross over, And any remedy is impossible to find He moves ahead through fast paced lane, Only to find no one on his side, He searched around for a fellow soul, To partner him along the ride The path gets longer & bends along, Grows its branches all across, Their ways get divided, the soul departs, Strikes him hard with the loss It breaks him down till the point, All emotions find it tough to find, The way to exit the broken soul, To help him soothe his lonely mind He ends up looking back through time, Realises he cant live the past, And finds new paths to walk along, And begins the cycle again at last
