Blame Our Fate


Gazing outside my window pane,
Gathering life from within the stars,
To ease upon this dark pain,
During these difficult night hours

Really thought you were the one,
But it was over before it begun,
It's so hard to walk away,
But I know, I cannot stay

There's nothing ahead that I can see,
Except the darkness that fills my eyes,
Like waves never leave the sea,
I fooled myself with similar lies

Existence of love in our lives,
Brings us together like beehives,
But the day it's shattered into pieces,
Anger & Grief is what it releases

Complications always keep increasing,
Unless we keep our head straight,
Opportunities seem to be ceasing,
And All we do is Blame Our Fate
