It's Your Life

Talking to different people over the days,
Just made me wonder,
We could live life in so many ways,
And there was no reason to surrender,
After all life's a gift by the almighty sender

We already talked about life being a mix of right & wrong,
We've been talking about it all along,
But there is a reason behind it all,
There is a reason for every fall

We may not know just what hit us,
In an instant our dreams might flow away as dust,
But yet it's better if we don't make a fuss,
After all even iron has a solution to rust

'Cause when we fall,
We learn to get up faster,
We stand up tall,
We become our own master

Life teaches a lesson every time,
I've learnt it through the way I rhyme,
I have been hurt, I have been crying,
But I still haven't stopped trying,
Trying to smile, trying to move on,
To be the person to look upon

So here I stand before you all,
Ready to answer everyone's call,
Just to explain there's never a reason,
Big enough to end the season,
The season of life,
'Cause perfect or not,
It's Your Life!
The gift that god has send,
So Live it till the end!

A Toast To Our Friendship

It was the month of August I remember, When for the first time we were together,  Unaware of what awaited us ahead,  All those moments going through my head, And so I raise, A toast to our friendship  I was new to this place, Thought finding friends would be the toughest task I'd face,  But then you all came along,  And now I realise where I belong,  And that's why I raise, A toast to our friendship  We started talking more and more,  Even in moments of sorrow we made sure,  We were there for each other,  Our love started growing every time we met one another,  And So I raise,  A toast to our friendship  And now we stand here, Just a year before we depart,  School may end but we would never be apart,  The bond we share, the way we care,  Losing you all is something I wouldn't even dare,  And tha...

Being Indian

As I stand here in front of you, Let's not talk about something you already know, Let's not talk about how great we Indians are, Let's reflect a bit of tradition that is ours Over the course of thousands of years, Our mother land went through a lot of smiles & tears, From the intelligence of our mathematicians to the bravery of the soldiers, From the riches of our heritage to the mixture of our cultures, There are endless things to discuss about, Endless thoughts running throughout But I wasn't asked to discuss all this, 'Cause most of you have it on your fingertips, I was here to share our Indian pride, How all of us must have enjoyed this ride, From the stories we've heard of our Independence struggle, To the CWG's criticism & appreciation juggle, I'm sure we all had that big smile on our face, When our nation came 2nd in the medal race, The Patriotic feeli...

Trapped

Unable to express these feelings inside, Boiling throughout with rage, As he tries to look far wide, Finds himself trapped within the cage Powerless to break past these shackles, Stuck within the circle of duty, Shaking up his heart's hackles, No longer enjoying the spring beauty Withering down like autumn leaves, Breaking apart piece by piece, Smoked up everything he believes, Hopeless for any kind of peace Being chased away into darkness, Defenceless against his ferocity, Scarred along with his word's sharpness, Can't help but endure his animosity Hiding behind the veil of attachment, Entangled fear becoming rife, Resolves around the final judgement, Escaping his forlorn state of life
