Math - A Mystery


The numbers are spinning around my head,
Math is very tough they said,
Alphabets + Number make a deadly combo,
Trigonometry aint as easy as playing bongo,
Permutation & Combination is all I ever understood
Applying logic is all I could

Geometry is the most boring thing I ever came across,
I'd rather do probability where a coin is tossed,
The limits we study know no bounds,
Derivatives is as tough as it sounds,
Math to me is still a mystery,
Makes me feel I'd rather study history,
Math is very tough they said,
The numbers are spinning around my head.

We started with stats which is as boring as it can get,
Something more interesting than it was a set,
"Math Nahin Aata" is what I just heard,
Straight lines is the worst thing I've seen on earth,
Math is very tough they said,
The numbers are spinning around me head

Author's Note : Well yeah, Math certainly is a mystery to me and I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who feel just like me. This poem was written during a math period in my 11th grade lol :)

Being Indian

Trapped
