Burning through the disguise,
Of desire and deprivation,
The civilization's abomination
Generations lost into the wind,
Without a hint of any chagrined,
Unsuspecting of the blackbird's song,
Oblivious of where they belong
Unprepared for the impending judgement,
Breaking away from the commitment,
Staring into the deep end,
Reflecting their failure to comprehend
Desperately grasping onto the idea,
Of the journey ending in euphoria,
Into the lifeless dark black night,
Where the end is nigh but not in sight
