Holding on to the memories,
Each smile followed by tears,
The absence taken away the music,
Given in to all his fears

Your presence defined his life,
Without you, he's lost his heart,
Your presence meant happiness,
Without you, it all breaks apart

His soul calls for you,
Screaming into the void,
The unbreakable bond between the two,
Wherever you are, it can't be destroyed

Eyes closed to see you next to him,
The Silent Guardian everywhere,
Yet everything around goes dim,
As his eyes open to the lonely heir
