Blame Our Fate

Gazing outside my window pane, Gathering life from within the stars, To ease upon this dark pain, During these difficult night hours Really thought you were the one, But it was over before it begun, It's so hard to walk away, But I know, I cannot stay There's nothing ahead that I can see, Except the darkness that fills my eyes, Like waves never leave the sea, I fooled myself with similar lies Existence of love in our lives, Brings us together like beehives, But the day it's shattered into pieces, Anger & Grief is what it releases Complications always keep increasing, Unless we keep our head straight, Opportunities seem to be ceasing, And All we do is Blame Our Fate

The Lost Grace

Going through the phase of life, Where pain seized the moment, Less dangerous seemed the knife, To cut through the heart like a rodent The hurt, the agony, the anger together, Makes up for one lost soul, Crying, whining, shouting or whether, Just living the nights darker than coal You say it's just a phase, It'll fade out over time, But it's not that easy a maze, To finish as partners in crime Broken heart, broken trust, No hope for new beginning, Moving ahead, if one must, In search for life's new meaning With hope for it to fade away, To meet the smile on your face, But it never seems to find its way, The smile's lost all its grace!

Born Alone, Die Alone

Not sure what to begin with, Trying to hold firm to the thought, Wondering if it's really a myth, Or just a phrase translated out of distraught Missing the smile on his face, As he walks under the star lit sky, Accepting his loss with grace, Tears hidden behind his eye There's nothing he can call mine, As he sets upon his journey ahead, Accompanied by just a bottle of wine, As his heart's left hanging by a thread The changing faces of people around, The mask of love covering them all, Selfishness has their actions bound, Not affected by any other's fall Decided not to stand there & wait, And move ahead on his own, As in his mind he sets it straight, One's Born Alone, One Dies Alone!
