I think I understand this man, The years we've spent have made it count, He stays with me as long as he can, In 'me' is where his life is found Been together for seventeen long years, He always makes me forget all fears, The time we spent made us best friends, We followed the latest fashion trends, Like father like son like brothers it's done, The problems we cant solve have been none Work for men may be first, But being a father is what he nursed, He taught me how to handle life, & how he met my mom, his wife; He is my idol to which all will agree My Santa Claus besides the tree; His love for me has been infinite My hero through the shining light, Like angels from the heaven above, He's kept me like he never was My love for him seems so mere When I see my smile make all his tensions disappear
